LANDLORD RECORD

Terms of Use

Use the record as research, not as an unsupported conclusion.

These Terms govern access to and use of Landlord Record. By using a paid checkout, you agree to these Terms and the Prohibited Uses policy in effect at the time of purchase.

1. The service

Landlord Record provides research tools that connect available public property, ownership, registration, court, entity, and related records. It is an independent service and is not a government agency, law firm, consumer-reporting agency, title company, or credit bureau.

2. Records are contextual

Government and other source records can be incomplete, delayed, inconsistent, corrected, or unavailable. A displayed role means the cited source supports that role; it does not automatically establish every legal ownership, management, or landlord relationship. Users should review the original source and relevant dates before making important decisions.

3. Prohibited uses

You may not use the service for tenant, employment, credit, insurance, or other regulated eligibility decisions; harassment, stalking, doxxing, discrimination, fraud, identity theft, or unlawful profiling; or mass scraping/resale that violates source terms or applicable law. The full list is in Prohibited Uses.

4. Paid reports

Current consumer pricing is shown on the Pricing page. Checkout is offered only when the system has verified source-backed information tied to the selected property. A report may contain limited coverage and may not include an owner, landlord, manager, court record, violation, or every other category. Payment purchases the available report for that property; it does not guarantee that every record category exists.

5. Payment and access

Payments are processed through Square. You are responsible for providing valid payment authorization. Report-access tokens are property-scoped and may expire. Do not attempt to alter or reuse access tokens for another property.

6. Corrections and disputes

If you believe a displayed record is attached to the wrong property, person, entity, role, status, or source, use the Corrections & Disputes process. A correction request does not guarantee removal of an accurate public record, but the service should investigate supported identity and context errors.

7. Intellectual property

The Landlord Record brand, software, interface, source-routing logic, evidence graph structure, and original presentation are protected to the extent provided by applicable law. Underlying government/public records remain subject to their own legal status and source terms.

8. No professional advice

The service does not provide legal, financial, real-estate, insurance, credit, or other professional advice. Source-backed research should be evaluated with qualified professionals when a decision carries legal or financial consequences.

9. Service availability

Source systems and third-party services can change, fail, throttle access, or become unavailable. Landlord Record may change or disable an integration when accuracy, rights, security, or source stability is uncertain.

10. Changes

These Terms may be updated as the service changes. The version accepted at checkout is included in the payment authorization flow for new purchases.
